Anthony Austin MBA/MPM

Strategic Advisor

About Austin Agency, Anthony embraces a holistic approach to life, business practices, and the management of resources. He considers himself a dedicated project champion who manages efficiently and strategically. Currently, he works as a licensed financial agent and educator who was advocating for the importance of a financial plan for all households. These comprehensive plans would guide individuals from employment through retirement and to foster healthy families.

While in Chicago (IL), Anthony was engaged in business consulting and assisted small & medium-sized manufacturing companies by enhancing their engineering efficiency. Moreover, he applied his approach of metrics and analytical systems to prospective industrial clients including Costco Warehouse Club, Target, and corporations needing disaster recovery systems such as Commonwealth Edison Electric.

Also, Anthony supported professional firms in managerial efficiency by using strategic marketing and targeted customer segmentation. Also, he utilized project management methodologies and Harvard Business School’s ‘strategy maps’ to drive improvements, leading to increased ROI and profitability for his clients. His sales market included clients in the fields of home caregiving, dental services, and hotel customer segmentation for Hilton Hotels. Also, his service sectors included faith and spiritual retreat centers.

Additionally, Anthony partnered with community-based organizations while adding a value-driven perspective on volunteerism: President and Treasurer of Zion Lutheran Church (Chicago), board member of Metro Chicago Synod–Youth Ministry Team, and member for Core (Steering) Team of ELCA National Youth Gatherings [10 years].

Today, in Seattle (WA), Anthony serves others by holding positions on boards of multiple nonprofit organizations. His passion, to advocate ‘economic justice’ with underserved communities, has shaped his career across various industries including human services and visual & performing arts communities, faith-based, as well as the field of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB).

Also, in the metro Seattle area, Anthony served as Marketing Director of CARCO Theatre, Chairman of Parent Alliance for Black Students (PABS), executive committee of Renton Area Nonprofits Unite (RANU), Faith Formation Team and Audio/Video Technology Co-chair of Immanuel Lutheran Church, as well as Presiding Chairman of Bellevue Diversity Advisory Network (BDAN) for 8 years.

Anthony has deep commitment and an early understanding of organizational behavior and community organizing which was formidable in the DEIB field. Anthony finds great fulfillment in assisting clients, whether they are individuals, corporate firms, nonprofit organizations, or local and regional municipal agencies.
